I lead the team to develop this video series for a client's annual Investor Day. Heading up a team of six, we partnered with the client to refine business objectives and through the use of initial storyboards, sold the video concepts to their various internal teams and secured funding.
Acting as Creative Director and Project Manager, I lead the team to take these concepts to completed videos in six weeks. This includes refined storyboards, eight on-camera employees interviews, two B-roll shoots, extensive edits, and custom 3D motion graphics. The timing proved challenging as we were beholden to approvals from four internal client divisions - in the end, these videos were a huge success and resulted in the client's highest ever stock price.

This non-profit client needed to bring the process of submitting building codes into the modern era. To do this, we needed to understand the landscape which consists of thousands of public municipalities (fire, building, police, etc.) worldwide and hundreds of building related industries. My design research partner and I spoke to dozens of these organizations around the country to fully understand their needs, fears, and expectations for a new code submission process.
This gave us the data and perspective needed to design the new web application, brand, and messaging for the service. To promote the service and educate the organizations, we designed a launch campaign for both online and a trade show booth. At this show we met with the board of directors for several of the public organizations and presented the Prezi (seen to the right) with the goal of helping them understand what we've learned so far and what to expect with the new submission process.

Built this pitch presentation for a new technology startup.
With several audiences to speak to, each with varied knowledge bases, the presentation was designed to be quite flexible in how much of each topic needed to be discussed.
There are roughly three levels of content for each sub-section. This allows the presenters to show a specific audience only the detail they need.

This touchscreen application was created to communicate to doctors the best patients to whom they can administer this drug. The goal was to take a very complex set of data, increase memorability, and transform it into a memorable experience for the doctors.
The highlight of this interaction was through the use of subtle motion to bring the people alive. We filmed each "patient" standing, shifting their weight, scratching their heads, etc. This allowed each "slice" of a person to be alive, greatly enhancing the connection the doctor made to this sample of patients.
This little bit of delight really won them over, and this application was used on several different mediums over a two-year period, including a 107-inch touchscreen at the drug's launch booth.
My role included:

I worked closely with the end client and partner PR firm to develop a cohesive brand strategy, including the launch of this content site with simple CMS.
After pitching our ideas to the client, I helped develop the scope, costs and timing. Once the client was signed on, I directed the design and copy for this brand launch. This site successfully hit the market, meeting all business needs with the brand vision intact.

This multi-faceted campaign included many projects including, product/service development, application interface design, web site/app design & development, branding, presentation design, and much more.
The purpose was to help our client launch their core product as a web service. To do this, I lead a team of six who developed the branding from the ground up to resonate with both end customers and the client's many business partners. These two distinct audiences had very different needs and required a deep understanding of their motivations and problems to create a brand voice that would resonate with them.
I personally developed the research, conducted customer interviews, designed wireframes and architectures, and directed the creative and programming for all aspects of each project.

This was a complete overhaul of a 10-year-old retail management app. The goals here were to evaluate how managers communicate to their corporate counterparts and total store task management.
Starting with user research, I interviewed store managers to fully understand their needs and challenges with the current system. Taking this knowledge, I used wireframes to develop the basic structure and gain approvals.
In parallel, I also developed a visual style. Once this and the functionality were approved, I created full site design files in Photoshop.
I hired and managed a developer to create the final deliverable in HTML/CSS (seen in the video).
